Description: Replace 3 non-historic wood windows on 2nd story side elevation that are deteriorated beyond repair. two paired 6/6 windows will be replaced with marvin 6/6 aluminum-clad wood windows in evergreen, with 7/8" simulated divided lights with applied interior and exterior muntins and an internal stainless spacer bar. a casement window will be replaced with a marvin 2/2 aluminum-clad wood windows in evergreen, with 7/8" simulated divided lights with applied interior and exterior muntins and an internal stainless spacer bar, in order to replicate the muntin profiles of existing windows. the deteriorated non-historic wood window surrounds will be removed down to the brick opening, and marvin's stratton-style aluminum-clad window surround will be installed to mimic baltimore bullnose. the windows and window surrounds will be installed into the brick window openings at the same depth as the existing windows, so that it has the same reveal. all work to be completed as per plans in chap files. this work does not set a precedent in bolton hill or other local historic districts.
