Description: Description of complaint: my boyfriend and i just moved out of this residence because of how disgusting it was. we are both very clean people and were horrified to find out the trailer had bedbugs! neither of us had any previous experience with them before but when we told our neighbor (and the park's security guard) about the bites we were waking up with he told us that particular trailer was rumored to have bedbugs. sure enough, we caught some crawling around our bed a few weeks later and bagged them up to show the manager. the manager is very good friends with the security guard but claimed she had never heard that bedbugs were in the trailer and tried to blame me and my boyfriend for them! on top of that, we found out after moving in that our trailer was placed on top of a septic tank, and randomly we would come home and the whole trailer would smell strongly of sewage. this happened daily. it felt like we were constantly breathing in the whole park's toxic waste. the bedroom window was broken when we moved on also, and no one ever fixed it. it wasn't until we told the manager that we were moving out and all the reasons why that she finally had maintainance nail some boards across the window panes because we told her we were going to report them. they were charging us $600 a month to live in filth! please shut these people down! or at least fine them until they get their act together! submitter's contact preference: i wish to remain anonymous.
