On 12-01-2014, at approximately 7:04 pm, an Alvin Police Officer initiated a traffic stop in the 2400 block of W South St. The suspect vehicle did not stop right away and continued onto Rowan-Burton Rd and then on to Adams before stopping in the driveway of a residence where the vehicle and suspect were not known. Leah Carmelo, 43, of Alvin was arrested and charged with Driving While License Invalid M/B, Failure to Identify M/A, and Evading Arrest or Detention M/A.
