Description: 390 & 396 academy street are connected properties and at this time are treated as one property. feb 19 2007 - 396 academy street was issued notices of violation for junk and debris, inoperative vehicles, and parking on an unpaved surface. the property was brought into compliance within the deadline stated on the nov. mar 27 2013 - 390-396 academy street was issued a notice of violation for accumulation of rubbish, tree debris, construction material and other items stored on the exterior of the premises and given two weeks for compliance. may 3 2013 - re-inspection of 390-396 academy street reveled both properties remained in violation. at mr. decandia's request a one week extension for compliance was granted. may 14 2013 - re-inspected both properties and found them to be in substantial compliance. jan 8 2014 - re-inspected both properties because of observed violations. both properties were again in violation. mr. decandia was not available for an interview. jan 9 2014 - issued a notice of violation to the property owner and occupants. occupants given five days to bring the property into complete compliance. jan 10 2014 - met mr. decandia with officer blood and the city building official concerning non permitted water and electric supply between 396 academy street and 390 acadamy street. issued occupant a notice of violation and given 1 day to disconnect the non-permitted water and electric connection because of health and safety concerns. jan 13 2014 - re-inspected the water and electrical connections. both had been removed as required. jan 15 2014 - re-inspected both properties and found that, while a great deal of progress had been made, the properties were not in complete compliance. issued a summons to the occupant of 396 academy street and the occupant of 390 acadamy street to appear before the january 2014 code enforcement board .
