Description: Janell, i had earlier requested and you approved the removal of a dead pine tree in my back yard. it was permit #addh 200901360. i have had a couple of arborists look at a pine in my front yard. this pine has branches hanging over my house and i was originally wanting to have them removed to avoid them coming down on the roof. two different arborists said that if i have them pruned now the turpentine from the tree will attract turpentine beetles. they both said that it is clear that the tree is already dying as the needles are a light green. they both recommended that i have the tree removed. the arborists are patrick mawhinney and gary robertson. i am asking that you approve to have this pine removed as well for safety issues since it is dying. i would like to have them both taken down at the same time very soon. i also wanted to note that i definitely am not trying to remove a bunch of trees in my yard. number 1 it is very expensive and i like the trees. i just want to eliminate any dead or dying trees that present a safety hazard. thanks for your help. sincerely, neil schroeder
