On Thursday, September 24th, 1015 at approximately 6:00 P.M. Officers responded to 1100-151 Fox Meadow Dr in reference to an assault that just occured. While en route, dispatch informed Officers that the male suspect was possibly headed to 413 Hillje St. As Officers made scene, it was found that the female victim`s common law husband had chocked her and then left scene. While gathering information, the female victim stated that she wanted to pursue charges for the assault. The male subject was then taken into custody for Assault Family/Household Member Impede Breath/Circulation- F# and later booked in at the Alvin Police Department Jail. An Emergency Protective Order was also completed for this case.
